Agents of the National Police arrested this afternoon, in Carabias, a man as the alleged perpetrator of the death of a septuagenarian yesterday afternoon in his house in Aranda de Duero, where the body was found with signs of crime committed with a knife.
According to police sources, the arrested person, who is the victim’s son-in-law, put up strong resistance to the officers, even attacking a police vehicle.
Likewise, the detainee’s partner was registered in the Global Monitoring System for Gender Violence Cases (VIOGEN).
As reported by the same sources, both the spouse of the alleged perpetrator, his mother and a minor daughter were under protection while the main suspect in the assassination, currently detained, was searched.
