The lieutenant colonel found out and gave money, and the barber came out.

In Azerbaijan, a barber is accused of fraud by presenting himself as a lieutenant colonel.

According to information obtained from the investigative materials of “Qafqazinfo”, 41-year-old Samir Nasibov deceived 13 people by promising them a good profit.

The investigation of this case was carried out at the Baku City Police Department. The accused was detained at the request of the investigator of said Department because he could not reach an agreement with the victims.

Samir Nasibov, a barber from Yasamal, deceived all the victims in the same way. He established himself as an influential person with reliable business connections in his hometown of Ganja. He told the victims that he would sell mobile phones and jewelry at a cheaper price than in Baku in the form of “manual loan” in Ganja and that they would make good profits as a result.

Some of those who believed him and gave him money were clients of the salon where he worked as a hairdresser, and some were employees of a shopping center selling jewelry in the capital.

Interestingly, Samir cheated on his girlfriend and his girlfriend. He told the woman he was about to marry and his girlfriend that he held a high position in the Ministry of Defense and had the rank of lieutenant colonel. The girlfriends told the inquest that they went to the house where Samir lived and saw military uniforms in the rooms. After that, there was more confidence. As a result, Samir confiscated 25,000 manats of his girlfriend’s gold and 36,000 manats from her friend, who works in a Moscow department store. During the investigation, they exposed Samir’s actions in confronting him.

In the indictment it is written that 13 victims of the case suffered damages worth 500 thousand manats.
