Moscow’s Zamoskvoretsky Court rejected comedian Danila Poperechny’s lawsuit*recognizing as legal the decision to include him on the list of foreign agents.
As RIA Novosti reports, during the hearing the representative of the Ministry of Justice explained that Poperechny* He was recognized as a foreign agent for receiving money from organizations in the United States and Ireland.
The official clarified that the comedian received $55.8 thousand from Google Ireland Limited and $6.4 thousand from Fullscreen.
The court found this to be a compelling argument and rejected the artist’s claim. Although his lawyer stated that Poperechny* illegally included in the registry of foreign agents for not carrying out political activities.
Let us remember that in June the Russian Ministry of Justice included Poperechny* to the registry of foreign agents.
