The 25-year-old man was evacuated by helicopter and had to crawl for four hours to shelter with a broken foot.
This Saturday, the medical helicopter team of the Government of Cantabria evacuated a 25-year-old hiker from Israelwho presented a possible rupture of the metatarsal of the foot due to the separation of a big rock following a route from Cabaña Verónica, in Camaleño.
After the accident, the hiker tried to reach the shelter crawl for four hourswhereas, under normal conditions, this journey takes 45 minutes.

A serious scare which, despite everything, remained such and which gives a good example of the dangers of this type of routes, especially if the relevant safety measures are not in place.
