The Civil Guard arrested a 72 year old man which would have ended the life of a 56 year old womanin the Almeria municipality of Roquetas de Mar.
Sources from the investigation told EFE that they became aware of the crime around 10:00 p.m. and that, in addition to the armed institute agents, they went to the scene of the 061 health incidents.
The event allegedly occurred at number 2 Sierpes Street in Roquetas de Mar, where the woman died after suffering several puncture wounds, while the alleged perpetrator required medical assistance, attempted suicide by taking medication.
According to the sources consulted, the man is alivewas transferred to the hospital and would have admitted the homicide.
For the moment, it has not been established whether or not the deceased had any romantic relationship with the arrested person, and if it is a crime of gender-based violence.
