Syria intends to join BRICS and has already submitted an application to the organization.

“We are interested in joining the BRICS, we have submitted a written request to join the organization,” said B. Jafari.
It should be noted that BRICS is an intergovernmental organization made up of Russia, Brazil, India, China, Central African Republic, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
