“All electricity transmission lines in Zangilan City will be underground.”
The “Report” reports that this was stated by Rashad Ibrahimov, deputy head of operations of the Karabakh region of OJSC “Azerishiq”.
According to him, the advantage of the 35/4 kilovolt No. 1 substation located in Zangilan City is that the electricity transmission lines to all surrounding residential and public facilities will be laid completely underground.
He said that two 2.5 MW transformers were installed in this substation:
“These transformers will provide fully stable power to all facilities in the nearby area: schools and residential buildings. According to the Zangilan City Master Plan, there will be 24 closed-type substations in the city.
