France is already making the International Organization of La Francophonie a victim of its own dirty objectives. Within the framework of the ongoing Summit in Villers-Cotterêts and Paris, with the direct support of France, unilateral, partial and distorted statements against Azerbaijan were included.
In this way, the organization’s profile is culture-oriented. However, the fact that it accepts documents against a sovereign country that is not a member of it and on issues outside its mandate, in addition to seriously damaging the reputation of this organization, shows that France uses it as a means of pressure. against other countries and that plays the role of a political tool.
But why does France interfere in the internal affairs of a country thousands of miles away, instead of solving the problems facing the country? It is clear that in the middle of next month Azerbaijan will host an international event: the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29). Heads of State and Government from many countries in the world, in total about 70 thousand guests will visit our country. Azerbaijan’s reputation and rating will continue to increase, and this does not benefit countries like France. The best ally country to achieve this goal can only be Armenia. Armenia, a colonial state with “little sister” status, is working to prevent this. Although the Prime Minister of Armenia spoke about the peace agreement with Azerbaijan within the framework of the event, it seems that his “big sister” France could not escape his words. The two countries that could not prevent the COP29 summit have now decided to try to downplay its prestige and importance.
The hypocrisy of the French leader has reached such a level that it even pressures some countries in this direction. For example, according to our information, he is trying to prevent countries that want to participate in the international summit from coming to Baku. This demand has reached Nigeria. However, the president of this country, Bole Tinubu, announced that he will participate in the event despite Macron’s threats and demands. This can be considered a fiasco by the French president. This type of subversive activity can be expected to continue. Armenia is actively used in this ugly and hypocritical activity.
We predicted from the beginning that Armenia would continue to play politics in accordance with its hypocritical and hypocritical nature. For example, Armenia’s leadership declared from the beginning that it can participate in COP 29. It was during the visit to France that Pashinyan’s position changed. This is confirmed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan. Baku said Armenia’s Foreign Ministry issued a meaningless statement in which it was allegedly using Azerbaijan’s COP29 as a “smokescreen” to prepare for an attack on Armenia. “The false propaganda calling on Azerbaijan to refrain from visiting COP29 is regrettable. The logic of the Armenian side of ignoring these problems shows that this country is not interested in lasting peace and is trying to maintain this situation as a backup option to maintain order, initiate another aggression against Azerbaijan in the future.”
Thus, the true essence of Pashinyan’s visit to France becomes clear. There are no changes in the position of “Bacillar”. On the contrary, Azerbaijan is being attacked more aggressively and strictly. It is no coincidence that the number of gifts against Azerbaijan and COP29 is increasing in the media of both countries.
As for inviting Armenia to the summit of the International Organization of La Francophonie, that is also nonsense. After all, what does Armenia have to do with this institution? It seems that France is already turning this organization into a platform against Azerbaijan. It begs the question: what does Armenia have to do with French culture and language? If we take into account the real situation of French language learning in Armenia, then the membership of the country in question in the International Organization of La Francophonie can only be associated with gender equality. It’s just that “older sister France” wanted to see “younger sister Armenia” with her. The International Organization of La Francophonie has 54 members, 7 associate members and 27 observer members. The institution is described as “an institutional mechanism created for the purpose of organizing coordination between countries united by the French language.”
As for the tasks and instructions Pashinyan received from Macron, perhaps the prime minister tried to enlist the support of the Elysee Palace ahead of the autumn protests announced by Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, leader of the “Holy Struggle” protest movement in Armenia . At the same time, it is possible to gain support for the Armenian opposition’s accusations of treason. It was previously reported that France had promised to help Armenia’s pro-Western leader Nikol Pashinyan protect his “democratic values” and shield him from Russia’s “threats and open hostility.” It was promised that it will receive support to strengthen its position in the South Caucasus.
We can say from now on that the next meeting of the leaders of France and Armenia, the next provocation of the anti-Azerbaijani forces will result in a fiasco. Like all international events, Azerbaijan will celebrate this event at the highest level. The loser will undoubtedly be Armenia. This country still does not understand that the way out is to establish friendly relations with its neighbors. In this way it can also be the salvation of Armenia. Otherwise, it will increase the misfortunes of its people and its State.
