This figure remains practically the same as that recorded a year ago: 3,724.
By crossing the two indicators, we obtain a small increase of 0.4% (+15 stays). Of course, one must keep in mind that this is a 2023 in which the capital’s hotel factory it recorded an increase.
Last year, the average monthly number of rooms in this type of accommodation was 3,772. This figure exceeded that recorded in 2022 by 2.8% (+102) and 5.6% (+200) compared to the figure for 2019 (3,573), the year before Covid broke out and overturned tourism.
It should be noted, however, that in 2022 the hotel sectorshowing signs of his strength, had already managed to outbid who gave in exercise before the coronavirus outbreak. That year, it was in 3,671 rooms, still a monthly average. This figure is 2.7% higher (almost a hundred more) than that reached three years earlier.

Of course, despite the fact that the supply of these companies has increased compared to the pre-Covid era, the workforce is still lower than in 2019. Concretely, the number of employees in these establishments, it is currently down 1.6% (-14 workers) who was registered with August of five years ago (888).
