The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said they attacked a school and a mosque in the Gaza Strip city of Deir al-Balah, where they said the command centers of the Palestinian movement Hamas were located.

According to the Palestinian Safa agency, thirteen people died as a result of the attack on the mosque.
