Brazilian mixed martial arts (MMA) artist Alex Pereira defeated American Khalil Rountree to retain the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight title.

The fight ended with Pereira winning via technical knockout in the fourth round. The 37-year-old Brazilian defended his title for the third time in a year.
Pereira won the title in November 2023 by defeating Prochaska. He has 12 wins and 2 losses in mixed martial arts.
