The Mac Mini has this hidden detail that is a statement of intent

Yesterday, Apple completed a week of product presentations and it was the turn of the new Mac mini. These are cutting-edge computers that pack an impressive chip, none other than the M4 series. There is, however, one detail that should not be overlooked, what is it? This is one of the reasons why the brand remains like this, and it is obvious that criticism can intensify again for something that may seem insignificant, but has a hidden message.

The Mac mini has this hidden button

The power button of the new Mac mini is located at the bottom, as you can see in the image. Is this an attempt to minimize any aesthetic disruption? Apple always stands out for its desire to minimize the visual impact as much as possible, a good proof of this is that its legendary mouse always has the charging port at the bottom.

Maybe you thought the button on the bottom of the device might be something exciting, a sort of hide-and-seek game with the power button. But this is only a hypothesis, it may be that Apple has decided Place the button in such an inaccessible place so that you never turn it off by accident. Or are you one of those who never turn off the computer?

It is true that older computers, and I’m not just talking about Apple’s, They had switches in somewhat unusual places. Perhaps this decision by the brand is linked to a sort of homage that it wants to pay to this retro design. So connecting a computer could even be an adventure. But personally, it’s something I like, although we’ll have to see what the experience of turning on the Mac mini is actually like.

Truth be told, with Apple sometimes there is no need to ask for explanations. There are always changes which constitute real challenges and which They overturn logic. The maxim that “Apple can do it” takes on a more than obvious meaning here.

There’s no doubt that Apple is still Apple, no matter who it is. Sometimes we find devices with inexplicable details, I reiterate this little logic of the Magic Mouse charging port, and This hidden button on the Mac mini is yet another change. I personally want to thank you, Apple. I do it simply because you continually remind us that you always have a reason to surprise us.
