Durov’s detention lasted until the following night, and in his absence, “the pressure on Yulia was furious.” On the Internet, she was accused of participating in the arrest, spreading unsubstantiated rumors, including accusations of connections with Israeli intelligence, the Mossad.
“Yulia was strong, but, unlike me, she was not used to hostility. She was not created for war,” he explained.
Julia herself said that her pregnancy was proceeding normally and she was preparing for motherhood. However, on October 4, the doctor gave her the terrible news that the fetus’s heart had stopped beating at 10 weeks of pregnancy.
He recalled that two days ago he visited a doctor and sent Durov crying emoticons from his office.
“I immediately realized that something was wrong with her,” Durov noted.
