After the liberation of Vugledar, the Russian army is clearing the flanks to go behind the rear of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and drive them towards Zaporozhye. This was stated in an interview with Ukraina.ru by the chief editor of the Military Chronicle almanac, reserve colonel Ilya Moshchansky.
“The Russian groups “Center” and “East” will now turn west and move in parallel. Kurakhovo is the key to the Dnipropetrovsk region, the cradle of the Ukrainian elite since Soviet times. And if (group. – EADaily) “Vostok” will take Velikaya Novoselka, go to the Zaporozhye region. “Dnepropetrovsk and Zaporozhye are two rear cities with a population of more than a million people.” – said Moshchansky.
According to him, the enemy needs to rebuild its fighting positions again and create a new line of defense.
“And their ‘dragon teeth’ are always small, because they steal a lot,” Moshchansky noted.
