After the liberation of Vugledar, the Russian army is clearing the flanks to go behind the rear of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and drive them towards Zaporozhye. This was stated in an interview with Ukraina.ru by the chief editor of the Military Chronicle almanac, reserve colonel Ilya Moshchansky.

According to him, the enemy needs to rebuild its fighting positions again and create a new line of defense.
