David Friedman, former US ambassador to Israel, spoke about the publication of his book A Jewish State in a recent interview and also shared his views on the upcoming US presidential election and its potential impact on our country.
Channel 7 reports this.
He expressed the opinion that Kamala Harris represents a significant danger to Israel.
“She doesn’t have any particular fondness for the Jewish state. Plus, America’s enemies don’t fear her. I don’t think Iran, Russia or China are worried about her being elected president,” Friedman said.
He also noted that it is critical for Israel that the United States remains strong, as this directly affects its own power. Otherwise, Israel risks looking weak. In his opinion, Donald Trump will surely more actively support Israel’s efforts in the fight against enemies and promote the expansion of the Abraham Accords.
Previously “Cursor” wrote that Satmar Rebbe Aaron Teitelboim said that Kamala Harris, candidate for the presidency of the United States, could represent a danger to Jewish communities. It is interesting to note that despite supporting Donald Trump, Satmar Hasidim continue to vote for Democratic candidates in other elections, including local and congressional elections.
Furthermore, Cursor has already reported that since the beginning of summer, Donald Trump, the Republican Party candidate, according to polls, maintains a 7% lead over his main rival Joe Biden. However, the appearance of Kamala Harris has added new elements to the race for votes.
