Paco Ureña, Roca Rey and Victor Hernandezwinner of the Chenel Cup, were the protagonists this Sunday in the sixth subscription race of this edition of the Autumn Fair in Las Ventas. They were fighting the bulls of the Fuente Ymbro ranch. Once again, both sides of bullfighting were experienced, the pain after Roca Rey was terribly gored during the second bull of the afternoon, on the one hand; and, on the other, victory by cutting off an ear to the Peruvian and to Víctor Hernández for third place. The Peruvian could not continue the fight as he was immediately transferred to the infirmary of the square, where he underwent emergency surgery before being transferred to the hospital with a serious prognosis due to ‘a spectacular gore.
The afternoon began Paco Ureña in front of a first who received a loud ovation at the start. Even though it was not delivered in the cape, it left a good feeling in the horse and in the flags. With his feet together, he received the third of the afternoon Víctor Hernández. Very willing from the start, he left a very careful task from start to finish despite the fact that the bull was tame from the start. He began his task with the right peak. He veered to the left, bringing the animal closer and closer. He was closed by the Bernardines and almost caught. He finished with a half split and received an ear.
Paco Ureña continued with the fourthwho had a hard time getting used to the cape. He left a task of great effort against a bull that was going from less to more. He started his work on the left peak and had a great time, with the public very involved in the work from start to finish. It’s a shame that the final blow was very weak. He received a loud ovation.
The trick took place and Víctor Hernández fought the fifth after being transferred to Roca Rey Hospital. He went unnoticed at the cape but left a large third of the canes, with picador Agustín Collado being applauded.
He began the task with statues and continued the bullfighting on the right. He left some very tasteful series. On the left, it was more difficult for the animal. He was a very dangerous bull: he was hooked several times. He missed the prize by not hitting the target with the sword. He received a loud ovation.
Paco Ureña closed in the afternoon bullfighted on the sixth, which left him no option with the cape. It was impossible to report him and he didn’t make it any easier for Ureña either, he was barely able to show up and had no choice but to cut things short. He finished the afternoon with a half-lunge.
