SEPAH commander disappeared after Israeli attacks

Major General Ismail Kaani, commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), could not be reached after Israel’s attacks in Beirut.

Oku.Az “Reuters” reports that two senior Iranian security officials have published information in this regard.

It should be noted that Kaani traveled to Lebanon on September 27 after the assassination of the leader of the Hezbollah movement, Hasan Nasrullah. One of the sources said General Nasrullah’s successor, Hashim Safieddin, was in Dahiya, a southern suburb of Beirut, during the attack. A second source confirmed this information.

The Israeli military was unable to provide information on Kaani’s fate because it was still assessing the results of the strikes.
