The northern regions of Israel were subject to new shelling, in total about 20 projectiles were fired, the press service of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported on its Telegram channel.
According to the IDF, following an airstrike warning in the HaCarmel and HaMifratz areas of the Haifa district, “about five projectiles” were fired from Lebanon.
In addition, after the sirens sounded, the military recorded another 15 Lebanese projectiles in the Upper Galilee.
As a result of a rocket attack in Haifa, five people were injured by shrapnel, the Times of Israel reports citing the Rambam hospital. Another person was injured in a missile attack in Tiberias.
In total, more than 120 projectiles were recorded fired from Lebanon in 24 hours, RBC quotes an IDF report.
