Rescuers in Kamchatka are searching for a group of travelers, including a child, who went to a popular vacation spot and have not been in contact, the region’s Emergency Situations Minister Vladimir Lebedev said on his website. VKontakte social network.
“Approximately five or six people, among whom there may be a child, went to Wild Lakes in the Elizovsky district and did not return on time. There is no connection with them. A friend reported me missing last night. Today a group of rescuers from the Kamchatka Rescue Center set out in search of the place. There are none in “Wild Lakes”” – said Lebedev.
The minister suggested that people could go to the Aquarium area. According to him, they did not register with the Ministry of Emergency Situations and did not record their route in detail, which complicates their search.
“Wild Lakes” and “Aquarium” are popular vacation spots for local residents, especially lovers of off-road driving. They are located a short distance from populated areas, but there are only dirt roads to them, RIA Novosti clarifies.
