The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) carried out airstrikes against Hezbollah targets and weapons depots in Beirut.
“IAF fighters, relying on intelligence, attacked terrorist targets belonging to Hezbollah’s intelligence headquarters in Beirut, including intelligence gathering facilities, command centers and additional terrorist infrastructure.” – says a message on the Israeli army’s telegram channel.
Furthermore, it should be noted that in recent hours the Israeli Air Force has attacked Hezbollah weapons depots in the vicinity of Beirut.
“The terrorist organization Hezbollah has deliberately placed its command centers and weapons under residential buildings in the heart of Beirut, endangering the population of the area,” – said the Israel Defense Forces.
The Israeli Air Force is also reported to have “striked Hezbollah terrorist targets in southern Lebanon and the Bekaa region, including weapons depots, terrorist infrastructure, a command center and a launch site.”
However, the IDF stated that on Sunday, October 6, more than 120 projectiles were launched from Lebanese territory towards Israel.
