A group of missing tourists has been found in the Kamchatka region. This was announced by the regional Minister of Emergency Situations, Sergei Lebedev, on October 7.
“Tourists have arrived. We were at the Aquarium (a local tourist attraction). The cars are stuck. “This was the reason for the delay in the return of the route.” — he wrote in a post on his VKontakte social network page.
On the same day, Lebedev reported that a group of tourists disappeared in the Elizovsky district of the Kamchatka Territory. According to the minister, several people were heading to the Wild Lakes hot springs and did not return in time.
He added that the group had not previously registered with rescuers, so its exact composition and route were unknown.
