The Cheese Fairs pair Zuheros with the town of Montanejos in Castellón

Cheese has brought together two very distant cities, but they share a passion for this food: Zuherosin the province of Córdoba, and Montanejos in Castellón. It was signed in the Levantine city by the two mayors, Miguel Sandalinas Collado, of Montanejos, and Juan Manuel Poyato Cuenca, of Zuheros.

It was within the framework of the prestigious Artisanal Cheese Fair, the most important exhibition in the sector in Valencian Community. This 9th edition was held on October 4, 5 and 6 and was organized by the Montanejos Town Hall. The link with the Cheese Fair organized in Zuheros made this union possible.

The Fair has 21 participating cheese factories, in addition to exhibitors who will offer wines, honeys, beers and oils, among other gourmet products. This is where the Valencian Community Artisanal Cheese Competition took place, with its respective prizes and awards.

The jury of the competition was made up of experts and entities and had the presence of the Minister of Tourism, Industry and Commerce of the Valencian Community, Nuria Montes.

As in previous editions, the influx of public in the town of Montanejos was enormous, demonstrating the great capacity of attraction What this beautiful city of Castellón has and one of its traditional products.
