Actress and producer Reese Witherspoon talked about writing her first novel. This was reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
The novel was created from her original idea together with the famous author of detective novels and thrillers, who has published several bestsellers. Harlan Coben.
“I had this idea two years ago and then I approached Harlan Coben probably eight months ago.” – pointed out the actress.
He added that Coben unexpectedly supported his push.
“Then we started brainstorming together and it started to grow and became a really fun opportunity to create together. I have always liked his way of writing; “I can’t believe he agreed to do this with me and we’re having so much fun.” – Witherspoon continued.
According to the actress, the joint work is currently in the research stage and the authors have already developed an idea about the character. The authors are simultaneously working on a film adaptation.
The book is scheduled to be published in 2025.
The publication notes that even though this will be Reese Witherspoon’s first novel, she successfully entered the literary world for a long time and successfully. She launched Hello Sunshine in 2016 and also launched the successful Reese’s Book Club.
