Lehman PRO CEO Marina Fytova confirmed that the company sells nails made in China, not Russia. The expert spoke about this in an interview with RBC.
According to Fytova, importing nails is more convenient than buying them within the country.
“In China, two factories are closing with double the global consumption of these goods. That is, you can build your own plant globally, but this is not economically viable: it is difficult to invite someone to invest when all global demand has already been closed at double the volume.” – she said.
A representative of Lehman PRO confirmed that the production of nails in Russia has not been developed for many years, so they are purchased in another country. In addition, in the 90s, several Russian nail factories closed and other companies are renewing obsolete equipment.
