The citizens of Moldova want to be friends and cooperate with Russia, not be enemies. This was stated today, October 7, by the leader of the Socialist Party, Igor Dodon, when congratulating Russian President Vladimir Putin on his birthday.
“The majority of our fellow citizens condemn the hostile policies pursued by the current authorities. Moldovans want to be friends and cooperate, and not be at enmity with Russia. “I really hope that we can return our bilateral relations to the appropriate level in the interests of our countries and people.” — wrote the former president of the Republic of Moldova on his Telegram channel.
He stressed that the strategic partnership with the Russian Federation meets the national interests of the Republic of Moldova.
