They gave a gift and help to the mother of our Belarusian national hero

As part of his official visit to Belarus, Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov inquired about the life and health of Kima Andreyeva, the mother of our Belarusian national hero Anatoly Davidovich, who lives in this country.

Oku.Az informs that the Cabinet of Ministers has published information in this regard.

Gifts and assistance were presented to the mother of the national hero on behalf of the Supreme Directorate of Azerbaijan.

Kima Andreyeva expressed her gratitude to the people of Azerbaijan, the state and the supreme leadership.

It should be noted that Anatoly Davidovich was born in 1965 in Slutsk, Byelorussian SSR. He served in the Armed Forces of the USSR until June 1992, then in the Armed Forces of Russia. Anatoly, who rose to the rank of major, began serving in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan in June 1992. He was the head of the artillery headquarters of the military unit “N”. The Belarusian officer with deep knowledge made great contributions to strengthening the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan and spared no efforts in training artillery specialists.

On June 9, 1992, he was wounded in the head during heavy fighting in the direction of Aghdam. Despite the efforts of doctors, he died on June 13, 1992 at the Baku City Central Hospital. His grave is located in Slutsk, Republic of Belarus.

Commander Anatoly Nikolayevich Davidovich was posthumously awarded the honorary title of “National Hero of Azerbaijan” by the corresponding decree of the President of Azerbaijan.
