The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, stated that warfare technologies have changed a lot recently and cited the example of the Iron Dome in Israel, which turned out to be ineffective.
“Before they built rockets, but now they build small drones… The modern system has changed. The world has shown that the effectiveness of the “Israeli Dome” (“Iron Dome” is Israel’s anti-missile defense shield) is not that high.” — said Kadyrov at the ceremony of handing over “jihadist machines” for the needs of the Northern Military District to the head of the executive committee of the All-Russian Popular Front Mikhail Kuznetsov.
Demonstrating the “jihadist machine”, the head of Chechnya noted that it has everything necessary to effectively repel attacks from unmanned aerial vehicles.
Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense system previously failed to cope with Iran’s missile attacks. As the publication Chechnya Today writes about this, the system turned out to be unable to effectively intercept the types of ballistic missiles used by the Iranian side, which, moreover, due to their massive nature, overloaded the Israeli air defense.
