The Agdash district prosecutor’s office concluded the investigation into the illegal actions of the chairman of the Kotavan municipality, director and accountant of the company “Abadlig-2012”.

It was reported that, according to the investigation, President Rashad Samadov stole 207,000 manats of the money allocated to the municipality by a group of individuals who conspired in advance with MMC director Ali Jabiyev and accountant Ismet Abdulkarim through embezzlement and waste, and knowingly provided information false. official documents for greed purposes have established well-founded suspicions that he used his position of service to carry out construction work on agricultural land located in the rural area, causing significant damage to the interests of the municipality protected by law.
At the same time, the investigation established well-founded suspicions that the director of MMC, Ali Jabiyev, involved a large number of workers in the execution of works without the employment contract entering into legal force.
Articles 179.3.2 (large-scale embezzlement), 188.4.2 (violation of the right to own, use or lease land through the use of a position of service), 309.1 (excess of official powers) and 313 (falsification of official duties ) of the Rashad Of the Samadov Criminal Code, Ali Jabiyev is charged with articles 162-1.1 (hiring employees to perform any work before the employment contract comes into legal force), articles 179.3.2, 188.4.2 and 313, and Ismat Abdulkarimov as accused of Articles 179.3.2 and 313 were made.
Furthermore, since Ali Jabiyev was found to have committed the crime of forgery for the benefit of a legal entity, proceedings were initiated to apply criminal measures against MMC in relation to Article 313 of the Criminal Code.
During the investigation of the criminal case, 65,000 manats were paid for material damage caused by the defendants, and to ensure payment of the rest of the material damage, property belonging to the defendants worth more was confiscated. of 160,000 manats.
The preliminary investigation of the case has been completed and sent to the relevant Sheki Serious Crimes Court for consideration.
