Ciudad Real City Hall will invest 300,000 euros in improving the asphalt

He Ciudad Real City Hall This Monday, he approved new investments to improve the road infrastructure of the capital and its annexes.

The Local Government Council has given its approval to the procurement files for new actions with a total value of approximately 300,000 euros, which are framed by the 2024 Communal Works Plan, the agrotourism road infrastructure plan and the village plan.

He spokesperson for the government team, Guillermo Arroyoexplained that with this initiative, the municipality wants to take “a step forward in improving the surface” of many roads.

As part of the 2024 municipal work plan, the development was planned in streets (in their entire length or in sections) like Fortuny, Goya, Beato Juan Bautista, Brezo, Mirto, Germany or Estación Vía Crucis. Likewise, action will be carried out to improve the metal structure of Corazón de María.

Thanks to the agrotourism road plan, the road leading to RSU will be paved. And the village plan included the execution of improvements in La Poblachuela: Obispo, Caballeros and Blanca roads; in Las Casas: Paz, San José and Maestre streets; and on Valverde Atascadero Street.

At today’s session, the Local Government Council also approved the authorization for the execution of 41 new houses on Diego de Mazariegos Street. The municipal spokesperson assured that with the granting of these licenses, there is proof of the administrative agility that the town hall achieves with the implementation of the measures of its modernization and administrative simplification plan, such as the ‘reported the Town Hall in a press note.

Likewise, on a proposal from Education, approval was given to the replacement of the local holiday of August 22 by March 5 (at carnival), in the field of education.

During his appearance before the media, Guillermo Arroyo evaluated “very satisfactorily” the activity that, during another weekend, the capital had again with events as participatory as Manchacómic or Bicycle Day (which have brought together nearly 2,500 people) and stressed that the town hall “will continue to work so that the cultural life of Ciudad Real does not stop and attracts the wealth that our city needs.”
