World football mourns the death of Johan Neeskens at 73 years old. An idol of Ajax and of Barcain addition to the Dutch team, which managed to score a goal in the final of the 1974 World Cup.
Neeskens is considered one of the best midfielders of the 1970s, he forged his career at Ajax and signed for Barcelona in 1974, playing for Barça until 1979 when he left for New York Cosmos . He signed for Barça at the request of his compatriot Johan Cruyff, the great Barça legend.
