Germany failed the anti-Semitism test after October 7, 2023, says BILD editor-in-chief Marion Horn.

He maintains that October 7 was an important test for Germany and the result of this test is failure. BILD’s top editor notes that incitement to hatred against Jews continues at German universities and that university authorities often fail to respond to such incidents. Horn also criticizes the political elite for their double standards: they react actively to minor provocations, but do nothing when calls for the extermination of Jews are heard in the streets. He highlights that the Palestinian scarf has become a symbol of hate that, depending on the context, is associated with both support for the destruction of Israel and nationalism.
