The English football club “Manchester City” won a legal case against the English Premier League for dealings with related parties.

The hearing concluded that the league’s original rules violated UK competition law and that the league itself was abusing its dominant position over the clubs.
The rules were declared illegal and the league’s decisions on two sponsorship deals with Manchester City were overturned.
