The management of Vox approved this Monday a document in which it sets the conditions that it will impose on the autonomous governments of the PP to negotiate the approval of the 2025 budgets, among which the cancellation of the measures “repealed or frozen” after the rupture of the agreements on language issues or on commitment to the quality of education. In the case of the Balearic Islands, these requirements to approve the second regional accounts, the Executive chaired by Marga Prohens they would go through the creation of Linguistics Office, that after the failure of the investiture agreements, the PP recently fell to Parliament with one abstention.
In educational matters, the popular have also rejected in recent weeks the so-called Parental PIN code. Remember that the two measures appeared in the list of agreements signed by the two parties to invest in Prohens.
It was on September 26, when the Balearic PP overturned the creation of the Spanish defense office through its abstention, that it reached an agreement with Vox. A decision that was sung after those of Santiago Abascal broken the programmatic agreement with the popular in the Balearic Islands and in the rest of the autonomous governments.
Parliament rejected the creation of the so-called Language Guarantee Office proposed by Vox thanks to the abstention of the PP which allowed the partial approval of a non-law proposal (PNL) from the independentist Més against this public entity that Vox was going to chair.
Previously, on September 24, the PP of Marga Prohens had already rejected in the plenary session of Parliament the application of the parental PIN code in classrooms in the Balearic Islands that Vox demanded. The people voted against the proposal by which all educational centers were required “to inform in advance of the carrying out of activities with religious, moral, social, civic or sexual content during class hours, and to request in writing the prior and express consent of the parents for the attendance of their children for them.
Beyond these problems, Vox demands a “clear and explicit” rejection of the distribution policies for irregular immigrants promoted by the Central Executive, this includes “effective return plans” for these people, within the margin allowed by regional powers, as well as the recovery of Vox measures suspended after their departure from coalition governments.
Vox abandoned the leaders of Castile and León, Aragon, the Valencian Community, Murcia and Extremadura and broke the investiture pact in the Balearic Islands last July, after the PP governments accepted the distribution of unaccompanied migrant minors by communities during the Sectoral Conference on Children, an agreement which was however never implemented because it was conditional on a reform of the law on foreigners that PP, Vox and Junts later destroyed in Congress.
Since then, Vox has always warned the popular that they could not count on them to approve the budgets if they did not reject the immigration policy of the Government and that this Monday, after the PP declared the negotiations with the Central Executive on this issue broken, it has put its conditions in black and white in this regard. .
After a meeting of the party leadership with the spokespersons of Vox in the various autonomous Chambers, the national spokesperson of the party, José Antonio Fusterannounced at a press conference the general lines of the document on which they had agreed.
Fúster stressed that Vox had a “willingness to negotiate”. “We are going to negotiate everything that, of course, the PP wants to negotiate,” he declared, before exposing the premises on which the people of Santiago Abascal want to establish this negotiation.
The first condition is the cancellation of Vox measures “repealed or frozen” after its departure from regional governments, such as those agreed on linguistic issues in communities like the Balearic Islands or those intended to cancel those so-called laws of memory.
