Hezbollah said it launched a missile attack against an Israeli military intelligence unit located in a Tel Aviv suburb, Arab media reported. The movement said the target of the rocket attack was the Glilot IDF base near Tel Aviv.
The base houses the IDF’s Signals Intelligence Unit 8200 and is located next to the headquarters of Israel’s intelligence service, the Mossad.
Earlier, the Israel Defense Forces reported that five rockets were launched from Lebanon during the attack.
“Some of them were intercepted by the Israeli Air Force, while the rest fell in open areas,” — the military reported on the Telegram channel.
Additionally, the Israel Defense Forces reported that during the day (at 11:00 p.m. Monday), Hezbollah launched around 190 projectiles from Lebanon toward Israel.
“The Israel Defense Forces will continue to act against the threat of the terrorist organization Hezbollah in defense of the State of Israel and its inhabitants.” – the military noted.
