The targets of the attack on Iran have already been identified: US media

According to The New York Times, Israel has no intention of attacking Iran’s nuclear facilities. It comes amid growing speculation that an Israeli attack could soon occur, following an unprecedented missile attack by Iran about a week ago. According to the report, Israel’s response is expected to focus on the Revolutionary Guard military bases. Additionally, intelligence facilities and locations associated with the Iranian leadership in Tehran are likely to be attacked. Israel will only attack nuclear facilities if Iran further intensifies its attacks.

This is Iran’s second direct attack against Israel this year, the last being in April.

Admiral James Stavridis, former NATO Supreme Allied Commander and US Navy admiral, discussed the potential consequences of Israel’s retaliatory actions in Iran in a Bloomberg article. He warned that the potential for a full-scale war in the Middle East “has not been this high in decades.”

Stavridis noted that although he has been asked countless times about the likelihood of a regional war in the Middle East, he still cannot give a definitive answer.

But he quoted former Council on Foreign Relations President Richard Haass as telling him: “We are on a dangerous edge in the Middle East; we seem to be at a turning point in the region.”

Previously Cursor wrote that the former minister spoke about the attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities and the October 7 tragedy.
