60 passengers evacuated following a fire in the Rodalies catenary between Ripoll and Manlleu stations

A fire in the catenary of a Rodalies train forced the evacuation of 60 people from an R3 convoy between Ripoll and Manlleu stations. Since the morning the Rodalies line has been cut.

As Civil Protection reports in an ‘X’ message collected by Europa Press, it was organized alternative road transport before the road closure.

In another “X” message, Renfe indicated that the incident concerns an electrification failurein which Adif technicians are already working to try to resolve it.
