The first trips of the Imserso social tourism program, managed by TurismoSocial, a UTE belonging to Ávoris, They started last Sunday, October 6 with great enthusiasm from the travelers.
This first day of operations marked the start of a highly anticipated season, with a total of 1,600 travelers from more than 30 provinces Spanish flights to different destinations on the peninsular coast, the Canary Islands, as well as various provincial capitals and cultural circuits, reports the company in a press release.
This Monday, 3,000 new travelers joined them, bringing the number of participants to more than 4,500 in just 48 hours.
Travelers are already enjoying scheduled stays in some of the country’s most iconic tourist areas. In addition to offering affordable holidays adapted to the needs of older people, Imserso plays a key role in deseasonalization of tourism. Through its extended calendar, which extends until May 2025, it helps to maintain the flow of travelers in hotels and tourist establishments beyond the high season.
This year, the program reached increase hotel membershipwith 5% more establishments involved compared to the previous period, which reinforces its relevance both for the tourism sector and for the local economy.
