The solidarity paella of the Guadalajara Festival will take place on September 10 for the benefit of Accem

THE solidarity paella which is organized every year by the City Council of Guadalajara with the sponsorship of the Provincial Deputation on the occasion of its Fairs and Festivals, will be next September 10th from 2:00 p.m., in the San Roque picnic area, with the hope of reaching more than 5,000 guests.

It will have a symbolic price of 2 euros per portion and the money raised will be used this year for the benefit of the Accem entity.

A solidarity activity that has been part of the municipal festive program for more than a decade and that was presented this Friday, at the San Roque picnic area, by the mayor of Guadalajara, Ana Guarinos, and the president of the Provincial Council, José Luis Vega, in the presence of several representatives of the club The drunken cakeand the Accem entity.

The president of the Provincial Council, curiously, recalled that during last year’s paella de peñas, 600 kilos of rice were cooked, after having mentioned the importance of this activity for its double objective, that of meeting and being in solidarity with an entity that works with people in situations of social exclusion, Comidas Populares being once again the company that will be in charge of its realization.

For its part, from Bizcocho Borracho, a club that is celebrating its 25th anniversary and which will be the preacher of the day of the chupinazo, one of its representatives, Manuel Arribas, He thanked the institutions for their collaboration and encouraged all fans and citizens in general to attend the paella.
