Quirónsalud celebrates its 10th International Seminar on Patient Safety and Clinical Excellence

The future of patient safety and new trends and opportunities for clinical excellence were the focus of the tenth edition of the Quirónsalud International Seminar on Patient Safety and Clinical Excellencewhich took place at the Aula Magna of the Jiménez Díaz Foundation University Hospital and in which more than 500 professionals gathered, in person and online, in a meeting that, year after year, seeks to identify trends and innovative programs around the world for improving clinical care. safety and health care practice.

One of the experiences shared within the framework of the forum organized in Madrid was the use of AI for surveillance and infection control through the Argos project, shared by the Dr. Javier Arcosgeneral director of the Jiménez Díaz Foundation University Hospital, in Madrid, as a priority line of patient safety strategies.

Quirónsalud Award for Best Patient Safety Initiatives

At the end of the Seminar, the Quirónsalud Awards were awarded to the Best Initiatives in Patient Safety, whose objective is to recognize the excellence of initiatives aimed at improving safety and clinical practice in the hospitals of the Quirónsalud Group, and who in this edition came across the project of the Jiménez Díaz Foundation University Hospital on the hub or monitoring device for the prevention and control of healthcare-related infections, based on artificial intelligence, and in other work of the General University Hospital of Catalonia on the Command Center as a disruptive tool that redefines the health management by optimizing patient flow, resources and processes, promoting efficiency and quality of care.
