Madrid Municipal Police arrested a father who was driving under the influence of alcohol in the M-30 tunnel, to zigzag and with her nine-month-old son in her arms.
The facts, revealed this Tuesday, They occurred in the early hours of September 8-9, around 2:10 p.m., when officers received a notice of a car driving strangely in the Calle 30 tunnel, near Méndez Álvaro, a municipality spokesperson informed Efe.
Agents of the special services station They located the vehicle closed, with the lights onthe engine was running and stopping in the traffic lane, and inside the driver was sleeping and the baby in his arms was awake, the municipality reported.
The grandmother arrived
During the first breathalyzer test, the father gave a positive rate of 0.88 and during the new breathalyzer test it reached 0.82.
THE the baby’s mother appeared on the spot but was unable to take control of the situation because she also tested positive for alcohol, so ultimately it was the maternal grandmother who had to pick up the child.
The driver is charged with two road safety offences: one for driving under the influence of alcoholic beverages and another for driving with obvious recklessness.
The Commissioner for Assistance and Protection of Women, Minors and the Elderly has opened a file for the protection of minors for further action.
