Nasrallah’s successor has probably been eliminated – Yoav Galant

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant said Hashem Safieddin, a senior Hezbollah official seen as a likely successor to the group’s slain leader Hassan Nasrallah, was also likely killed in the recent attack in Beirut.

This was reported by The Times Of Israel.

“Hezbollah is a leaderless organization, Nasrallah was eliminated, his successor was probably eliminated as well,” Yoav Galant said.

According to him, this event creates significant difficulties for Hezbollah, since none of the leaders can no longer make decisions and coordinate actions effectively.

Galant emphasized that the destruction of key Hezbollah figures has a serious impact on its military capabilities. He also noted that Israel’s actions have attracted the attention of the entire Middle East, and as soon as the situation in Lebanon stabilizes, Iran will understand that it has lost its most important asset: Hezbollah.

Previously, Kursor wrote about why Hezbollah is hiding Nasrallah’s successor.
