The deputy prime minister ordered to monitor gasoline and diesel prices

Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak ordered the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) to monitor fuel prices, which should exceed inflation.

“Please pay special attention to the transition from summer diesel fuel to winter diesel fuel, the marketing of which has recently begun, from the point of view of the availability of its volumes and the formation of affordable prices even for the Far East. “They shouldn’t outpace inflation.” — said the Deputy Prime Minister at a headquarters meeting on the situation in the domestic market for petroleum products.

The Deputy Head of Government tasked the Ministry of Energy and the Federal Antimonopoly Service with monitoring fuel prices.

“He was also instructed to ensure the regularity and uniformity of sales of gasoline and diesel on the St. Petersburg International Commodities and Raw Materials Exchange, as well as timely delivery to customers, including by rail.” – reports the Ministry of Energy of Russia.

According to the department and the antimonopoly service, fuel prices at gas stations remain stable, do not exceed inflation and there are no shortages.

“The domestic market is fully supplied with gasoline and diesel,” – says the message.
