The National Police are investigating a group of hooded men who set off firecrackers in Triana and the Center at dawn

THE National Police investigation into the throwing of firecrackers in various streets of Seville last morning by a group of hooded men. It is suspected that this may have been an organized action.

The first calls for service Emergencies 112 They happened at 5:30 in the morning. They continued until almost 6 p.m. What is striking is that they occurred in two districts of the city: Triana and the Center.

112 sources indicate that the first neighbor who called “alarmed” did so from the Plaza de San Román, in the historic center. Then they called from Plaza del Zurraque, already in Triana, to Previsión Street or Plaza de San Gil, to return to the Center.

Emergency services notified the National Police, who took charge of the investigation, the Local Police and the Fire Brigade, even if the latter two organizations ultimately did not intervene.

Neighbors in the areas where the firecrackers were set off say they were scared. Someone looking out the window saw the hooded people while they were already fleeing the scene, they add.

A neighbor on Llerena Street, in the neighborhood of Pius XIIassures that the firecrackers were “like bombs”. He tells EL ESPAÑOL that he woke up scared, even though he didn’t see who threw the explosives.
