On October 8, a national day organized by the Ministry of Science and Education, the Educational Development Fund and the State Agency for Science and Higher Education Heydar Aliyev The Educational Development Forum dedicated to its 101st anniversary was held.
The main objective of the forum organized under the motto “From partnership to progress” is to contribute to the stable and sustainable development of the partnership between the State, university and industry. Each year, the Forum provides a useful platform to discuss the most important issues of public-private partnership, the integration of education in the economy and cooperation between university and industry.
Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev, state officials, parliamentarians, directors of higher education institutions, private sector employees and other guests participated in the event.
The National Anthem was heard first at the event.
Afterwards, a video clip about the activities of the Educational Development Fund was shown.
The Minister of Science and Education, Emin Amrullayev, who gave the opening speech, stressed that the Forum for the Development of Education, held for the second time in the country, brought together various actors, private and state institutions. E. Amrullayev said that the creation of the Education Development Fund is a step towards progress.
At the end of his speech, the minister wished success in the work of the forum.
Then Sanem Yalçıntaş Sabuncuoğlu, member of the board of directors of TÜBİTAK TEMEG, founder of the company “CATALYSADE”, gave a speech.
In the first panel “Synergy that turns knowledge into value”, moderated by the Chairman of the Board of the Educational Development Fund, Elnur Nasibov, the Minister of Science and Education, Emin Amrullayev, the First Deputy Minister of Economy, Elnur Aliyev, the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Anar Aliyev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Space Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Sameddin Asadov, spoke.
The second panel of the forum is dedicated to the topic “The path from research to development.”
Before the panel, the rector of TED University of Türkiye, Ihsan Sabuncuoğlu, gave a speech.
Later, in the panel moderated by Fariz Jafarov, executive director of the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, Anar Isgandarov, member of the Milli Majlis, president of the Science and Education Committee, Bakhtiyar Aslanbeyli, vice president of BP For the region of the Caspian speakers included Elmar Gasimov, rector of the Baku Higher School of Petroleum and Sciences, Nijat Mammadli, advisor to the Minister of Education, Farid Hidayatzade, member of the board of directors of Kapital Bank.

The third panel of the forum was dedicated to the topic “How to prepare the future of young people.”
Nihat Majidov, general director of the High Technology Park of the Ministry of Science and Education, gave a speech to the panel.
Later, in the panel moderated by Shola Aliyeva, the chief human resources administrator of the STP group of companies, Sadiq Aliyev, the chairman of the board of directors of the State Employment Agency, Fariz Ismailzadeh, deputy of the Milli Majlis, vice-rector of the Como Speakers included ADA University, Akanksha Kapoor, Director of Government Partnerships of “Coursera”, President of the Free Union of Education Workers of Azerbaijan, Araz Pashayev, and Head of NEQSOL Holding Azerbaijan Office, Imran Ahmadzade .
