Wife of the martyr: “One of her greatest dreams was for her children to have a higher education.”

Baku TV prepared a report from the house of Nahid Mikayilov, martyr of the Patriotic War.

Jala Mikayilova, the wife of Nahid Mikayilov, one of our brave men who fought face to face with the enemy, shared her memories about him.

J. Mikayilova said that one of our martyr’s biggest dreams was for her children to receive higher education:

“Nahid lived 38 years. There are no stories left that he didn’t fit into this life. How many times did he fall asleep and tell me: ‘I’m with you, I haven’t gone very far.'”

On my first birthday after Nahid, I dreamed that we were gathered around the table and looking at his photographs. He put his hand on my back – “Jala, I’m proud of you,” he said. “This was the greatest gift Nahid gave me,” he added.

The martyr’s wife also mentioned that she named her little son Nahid to keep her husband’s memory alive forever.
