The United Aircraft Corporation of the state corporation Rostec has transferred another batch of new Su-34 frontline bombers to the rest of the Russian Aerospace Forces.
This was reported on Wednesday, October 9, by the press service of the Government of the Russian Federation. It should be noted that the combat vehicles were manufactured within the framework of the current year’s production program.
Before being handed over to the troops, the aircraft underwent a series of ground and flight tests. The event was commented by the First Deputy Prime Minister. Denis Manturov.
“The next batch of Su-34 aircraft has joined the ranks of the Aerospace Forces; The pace and punctuality of deliveries speak of the well-coordinated work of the aviation industry in the interests of the Russian Armed Forces. “I am sure that the new and expanded capabilities of our Su-34 aircraft, which today is the aircraft with the widest range of weapons used, will contribute to the achievement of the goals of the Northern Military District,” – said.

In his words, the national military-industrial complex maintains the production rate necessary for the timely fulfillment of obligations with the Ministry of Defense. At the same time, manufacturers are constantly working to improve processes and introduce technologies that allow them to increase the pace of production.
The press service explained that the Su-34 is designed to destroy land and sea targets, as well as to perform reconnaissance and suppression of enemy air defense missions. This aircraft is an important element of Russia’s defense capabilities and a guarantee of success in combat missions in any conditions.
