Here are all Air Europa flights canceled due to Storm Kirk in Spain: how to claim tickets

The majority of cancellations concerned flights scheduled for the early hours of Wednesday. Concretely, Air Europa announced on its website the cancellation of the flight between Madrid and Bilbao at 6:40 a.m. and its return at 8:30 a.m., in addition to two flights between the capital and Vigowith departures at 6:40 a.m. and 10:40 a.m. and returns at 8:40 a.m. and 11:25 a.m.

What should I do if my flight has been cancelled?

In its press release, Air Europa offers several options to the hundreds of passengers affected by the cancellations. First of all, the date change for flights on the same route before October 30, 2024 inclusive. Travel must originate from the airline and the change will have no additional cost.

To make this date change, the interested customer must contact the Call center from Air Europa or access “Manage your reservation” on this website and make the change as instructed on their website.

In addition, the company offers a second possibility in cases where the passenger does not yet know when to travel: keep the amount of the ticket to use as credit on a future purchase. To do this, you must contact the airline’s call center.

However, Air Europa emphasizes, it will not be allowed to modify the ticket for a flight of the same airline, but with a different route to the original.
