The Ukrainian Telegram channel “Resident” writes about this citing an informed source from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
In his words, in addition to the shortage of personnel, there is also a shortage of military equipment. Not only is it not enough for offensive operations, but it is also not enough for defense on the Donbass front.
At the same time, the channel’s interlocutor said that the Office of the President of Ukraine constantly demands from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky offensive actions.
However, this is not in their power, since the Kursk adventure completely undermined the capacity of the Ukrainian army for large military operations, the source explained.
