For several years, due to the drop in sea level, the activity of boat trips along the boulevard has been temporarily suspended.
In recent days, local media and social networks have published photographs of the reappearance of the “Pearl” ship on Baku Boulevard.
The ship’s reappearance has raised the question of when citizens will use it.
Furthermore, whether or not the prices of the boat trip are determined is one of the doubts that arise.
In this regard, the head of the press service of the Seaside Boulevard department, Afsana Mehdiyeva, told Bizim.media that the final preparations for the cruise are being made:
“The drop in the level of the Caspian Sea caused the temporary suspension of boat trips along the boulevard from 2022. This year, work has begun to resume boat activities. Depth measurement was carried out in certain parts from the sea and, consequently, new and safe routes were determined.
At the same time, repair and renovation work was carried out for the safe and comfortable movement of the ship “Mirvari”. For several days the ship has been docked on the bridge in front of the Maritime Station and preparations for the cruise are being finalized. Information on prices and concessions will be given once the preparatory work is completed.
