Storm Kirk causes traffic problems and flooding in Galicia

Incidents on trains and planes

As Adif reports, rail traffic between Padrón and A Escravitude suffered interruptions due to the fall of a tree on the infrastructure, causing the delay of several trains on the line that connects A Coruña to Vigo. In addition, the A Coruña – Ferrol line, including the Betanzos stop, is also closed. Transport will be by road, according to Adif.

Air connections were also affected, including origin-destination flights Peinador (Vigo) and Alvedro (A Coruña). This Tuesday, Air Europa canceled flights between Madrid and Vigo early in the morning (6:40 a.m. and 10:40 a.m.) as well as their reverse flights, which took off at 8:40 a.m. and 11:25 a.m. The flights between Madrid and La Coruña (6:40 a.m.) and the return flight at 11:10 a.m. also did not take off.
